Your new favorite Christian fall artist
From Courthouse Sentences to Nights of Worship - Exclusive Interview with Justin Gambino
Acclaimed Texas singer/songwriter, Justin Gambino, has developed an enthusiastic following and fan base across the US with his hope-filled Christ-centered concerts.
He’s performed at festivals, churches, camps and other venues, opening for faith leaders as TobyMac, for KING + COUNTRY, Crowder, Casting Crowns, Skillet and Switchfoot.
But Justin’s path hasn’t always been so faith focused.
Born and raised in a Christian home, Justin he would bring his Bible to church and strum on it like a guitar at the age of 5.
Later, as culture would have it, Justin fell into the wrong crowd. He turn to rebellion, was arrested for theft at the age of 18 and was shipped off to Iraq to serve his community service in lieu of in incarceration.
While serving in Iraq, one night Justin was asked lead worship on base, rekindling a love for music and the Lord he first embraced as a child.
As he rediscovered his Christian identity and his place in music, Justin eventually came full circle. Today, he hosts the Brazoria County Revival concert each year on the steps of the Texas courthouse where he was sentenced as a teen.
Watch our Scenes Live Session with Justin on how his music touches themes of hope and redemption and how a pivotal moment in his life redirected his path out of the dark and into the light where he would find his purpose of making music to help lead the prodigal sons back to Christ.
“I really believe that when people hear these songs they’ll help call the prodigals home.”
